show Abstracthide Abstract
The golden dust stingray (Potamotrygon marinae) is a species of stingray in the family Potamotrygonidae found in rivers in tropical and subtropical South America (from Wikipedia entry). This sample of a male individual found in French Guiana, was procured by Yann Guiguen and Julien Bobe to generate a high-quality reference genome for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing was conducted at the Vertebrate Genome Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Erich D. Jarvis, Giulio Formenti, and Jennifer Balacco.
Sample: Animal sample from Potamotrygon marinae (golden dust stringray) for VGP genome, sPotMar1
